Mom’s Invisible Heels Protector is a clear, self-healing film applied to the platform/toe box to protect against chips, scuffs, and swirl marks from dancing. It preserves your heels’ appearance and is virtually invisible when properly installed.
INSTRUCTION:
Step 1: Set up
Add a small amount of liquid soap (about the size of a tear) into the spray bottle and add water to mix.
Step 2: Surface Preparation
The platform/toe box surface must be thoroughly cleaned by using rubbing alcohol to ensure proper adhesion. Apply on new heels for best results.
Step 3: Film Application
Spray the soapy water on the sticky side of the base film (matte finish) and the platform/toe box area generously. This helps to position the film easily, and accurately. Carefully align the center of the film onto the tip of the platform/toe box area and slowly wrap the area along the shape of the heel. You may reposition the film as many times as you like within the first 60 minutes.
Step 4: Squeegeeing
After positioning, a squeegee is used to squeeze out the air bubbles and ensure a smooth, tight fit. Let the base film sit for about 30min.
Step 5: Repeat Film Application
Spray the soapy water on the sticky side of the top film (gloss finish) and carefully align the center of the film onto the tip of the platform/toe box area and on top of the base film. Slowly wrap the area along the shape of the platform. After positioning, squeegee out the air bubbles and ensure a smooth, tight fit.
Step 6: Heat Treatment & Dry Time
Use a hair dryer on low heat or place your heels in the sun to help activate the self-healing properties and ensure proper adhesion. Please allow 24-hours dry time before dancing.
